In my life, some events are not linked to my efforts, they are gifts received independently of my will or my work. You could call that chance. Cannot one also think that it is Providence i.e. the work of God ?

I make a list of all the benefits that I have received from God during my life (at least 15 moments or graces). This list is for me like psalm 135 in the Bible, in which the people of Israel remember and give thanks for everything God has done for them. It is like my library of gratitude with respect to the Lord, my holy history with Him. I can come back to it regularly to constantly remind myself of the Love of the Lord. I express my gratitude to God with simple words or with a hymn of praise.
