St Margaret Mary writes to her novices :
“Our challenge in Advent will be to unite ourselves in spirit and in heart to the Most Blessed Virgin, as many times as we will be able to, in order to pay hommage to the Word made flesh, this God- made child in Her Womb ; loving and adoring Him, in silence with Her.”
With Mary, let us contemplate the marvels of the Heart of Jesus, who takes form in Her womb, as announced by the prophets, and ready to reveal Himself in a very subtle way in the mystery of the piercing of His Side : “When they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs, but one of the soldiers, with his spear, pierced His side and there came out blood and water… They will look at the One they pierced.” (John 19).
